Since the premiere of Doubling Down With the Derricos in August 2020, TLC fans have flocked to Deon and Karen Derrico and their 14 children, which include four sets of multiples. Viewers have grown to adore Deon’s mother, GG, who lives with the family and plays an important role in their daily lives. Because of GG’s health concern in Season 3, fans have been wondering how old the Derrico matriarch is.
How old is GG on ‘Doubling Down With the Derricos’?
Deon’s mother, Marian Derrico, is frequently seen assisting Deon and Karen with the logistics of raising 14 children. Members of her relatives affectionately refer to her as “GG.”
So, what is her age? GG turned 71 in August 2020, according to an Instagram post, which means she is currently 72 and will age 73 in the summer of 2022.
Deon wrote a wonderful tribute to GG for her birthday on Aug. 27, 2021.

What is Deon Derrico’s age? And how old are the other members of his family?
Deon is older than his wife, Karen, as they’ve discussed on the show. Deon will be 52 on September 16, 2022, making him 51 at the time. Karen will turn 42 in 2022; her birthday is February 26.
Darian (16), Derrick (11), Dallas and Denver (10), quintuplets Deonee, Daician, Daiten, Deniko, and Dariz (8), twins Diez and Dior (4), and triplets Dawsyn, De’Aren, and Dyver (4) are among their children (2).
GG is experiencing health concerns in Season 3 of ‘Doubling Down With the Derricos.’
In the third season’s first episode, fans saw GG go through a frightening health scare. What started off as indigestion became a trip to the hospital when doctors were afraid that something was wrong with her heart. However, the episode concluded on a cliffhanger, with Deon expressing concern for his hospitalized mother, who had yet to receive a diagnosis.

On Doubling Down With the Derricos, this isn’t GG’s first health issue. GG, who had previously survived lung cancer, as well as Deon, Karen, and all 14 of their children, tested positive for COVID-19, despite the family’s precautions.
Doctors should be able to figure out what was causing her health problems, hopefully. We hope GG is in much better spirits today!
