Bride-To-Be Slams Partner Of Eight Years For Buying Her A ‘Tiny’ Engagement Ring

A furious bride-to-be has slammed her fiancé after he ‘saved up’ to buy her a ‘tiny’ engagement ring after eight years together.

In a photograph posted to Reddit, the woman, believed to be from the UK, explained that she and her partner had been together for a lengthy period of time and had been ‘talking about getting married for almost three years’ before the proposal.

But the disgruntled bride-to-be was less-than-impressed with her fiancé’s choice of ring, which she said he ‘saved up’ to buy her.

She penned: ‘We been together for eight years and talking about getting married for almost three.

‘This is the ring he said he saved up to buy me. Am I being shady or materialistic if I tell this mf ion to want this little a** ring?’

Her delicate engagement ring features a thin gold band with a tiny diamond set above the base.

After posting a photograph of the ring, a social media user asked whether or not the bride was ‘justified’ in her blunt response to the miniature ring.

The question resulted in very mixed responses, with some users insisting they love the ‘sleek and modern’ ring and others asking: ‘Is that a diamond for ants?’

One user even described the jewelry as ’embarrassing,’ while others claimed it’s the ‘saddest ring’ they had ‘ever seen’.

‘I think I’d be more insulted to be given this ring than no ring at all,’ said another. ‘Like, just skip the ring altogether if you can’t afford it. That’s just embarrassing’.

Another commented: ‘That is the saddest ring I’ve ever seen. I’m not a materialistic person, but it just doesn’t even look good. She should talk to him if she’s unhappy with it?’

But others disagreed and admitted that they were actually fans of the ‘dainty’ style engagement ring.

One user said: ‘It’s very dainty. I love dainty jewelry. But good lord that looks like if she makes a fist it’s going to snap!’

A further penned: ‘I kind of like her ring. It’s very modern and sleek looking. I’d wear that in a heartbeat’.
