Liang Xiang knew he had to make drastic changes if he wanted to participate in the Dakar Rally. Xiang has been training to become the oldest Chinese driver in the Dakar Rally. The off-race adventure takes place every year in South America where competitors from all over the world race in harsh environments in motorbikes, quads, cars, and trucks.
The 61-year-old left his business behind 10 years ago to focus exclusively on training. The grandfather has recently shown his perfect physique that proves you are never too old to be fit.
Liang Xiang has cut down eating meat. He eats seven meals a day.
Xiang raced with his son in 2012, they are preparing to do it again.
This grandpa also loves to power parachute.
