Ten Of The Tastiest Three-Ingredients Snacks

People love when the table is full of food, but to achieve that, it’s not necessary to cook in the kitchen for hours. We collected ten scrumptious snacks and desserts which you can throw together with just three ingredients (excluding salt, spices and oil).

Chicken wings with honey and soy sauce
three-ingredient snacks 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds (~1 kilo) chicken wings
  • 5 oz (150 g) soy sauce
  • 5 tablespoons of liquid honey
  • spices, salt

How to make it:

Mix honey and soy sauce, then add your favorite spices and pour it over the chicken wings. Put the chicken in the fridge and leave it for a couple of hours (if you have time, leave it for an entire day). After that, lay out the chicken on a baking sheet or a roasting tin and put it in an oven preheated to 350°F. Bake for about an hour or until golden brown.

Avocado halves with shrimp
three-ingredient snacks 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados (4 portions)
  • 7 oz (200 g) frozen, cooked (or canned) shrimp
  • mayonnaise sauce to taste
  • salt, pepper

How to make it:

Divide the avocados into halves without peeling them and remove the pits. Scoop them out and chop. In a bowl, mix chopped avocado and shrimp, then dress with a mayonnaise sauce (you may add some cream), add salt, pepper, and if you wish, chopped garlic. Spoon the filling into avocado halves and serve.

Stuffed Tomatoes
three-ingredient snacks 3

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 tomatoes (depending on number of guests)
  • 7-10 oz (200-300 g) minced meat
  • 1 onion
  • salt, spices to your taste

How to make it:

Wash the tomatoes, cut the tops off then scoop out the pulp and seeds. Fry finely chopped onion, then add the tomato pulp and minced meat. Stew 5-8 minutes.
Stuff tomatoes with the filling and cover with the cut tops. Put on a sheet pan, spray with water and bake in a preheated oven for 40 minutes. Guests will demand more … or the recipe!

Brie cheese baked with nuts and honey
three-ingredient snacks 4

Ingredients:

  • a block of Brie cheese
  • 2-3 tablespoons of honey
  • nuts (pecans, walnut, hazelnut)
  • olive (or any other) oil

How to make it:

Brie cheese is tasty in itself, but when baked it’s exquisite! Especially with a glass of wine.

Lay out a little block of Brie cheese in a baking dish and make a couple of cuts. Spray with oil, cover with foil, and put into a preheated oven for 5-10 minutes. Wait until it melts and pull out. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and honey.

Another variant: mix 1/2 glass of Kahlua with 1/2 glass of brown sugar instead of honey (now there are four ingredients, oops). While Brie cheese is in the oven, warm Kahlua with sugar in the pan, stirring for 15 minutes. A couple minutes before turning off the stove, add chopped nuts. Pull Brie out of the oven and cover with syrup.
Serve with crispy toasted bread or crackers.

Baba ghanoush
three-ingredient snacks 5

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggplants
  • 6 tablespoons of olive oil
  • garlic
  • spices, salt

How to make it:

Chop the garlic and fry in olive oil. Divide eggplants into halves lengthwise and spread garlic oil on them. Lay the halves out on a roasting tin and put in an oven preheated to 350°F for 20 minutes. Peel the eggplants. Put them into blender and work until smooth, then add favorite spices and the rest of garlic oil, and work again.

Serve with slices of crusty bread. Guests will surely like this fluffy and tasty snack.

Lavash rolls with salmon
three-ingredient snacks 6

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 lavash sheets
  • 10-14 oz (300-400 g) light-salted salmon
  • cream cheese

How to make it:

Slice the salmon, take lavash sheets and spread cream cheese on them. Lay out salmon on the sheets, leaving some space between them. Roll lavash sheets, wrap in plastic and put in a fridge for an hour. Then remove and cut a roll with a sharp knife.

Cherry tomatoes with shrimp
three-ingredient snacks 7

Ingredients:

  • 20 cherry tomatoes
  • 20 frozen, cooked shrimp (pre-peeled or in the shell)
  • 7 oz (200 g) cream cheese
  • salt

How to make it:

Wash the cherry tomatoes and dry them with paper towels, then cut the tops off and scoop out the pulp. Salt the cherry tomatoes on the inside, then turn them upside down on a paper towel and wait until the juice flows down.

Boil shrimp in salted water and put them in a strainer. Peel them and remove the heads. You can leave the tails on to make the snack look prettier (if the shrimp are pre-peeled, this task is easier). Fill tomatoes with cream cheese. You can easily do it using a pastry bag or a plastic bag with a cut tip. Put shrimp in the cheese with their tails out. Done!

Kiwi popsicles
three-ingredient snacks 8

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons of honey (or more)
  • 4 kiwi
  • 4 oz (120 g) fresh lime (orange or lemon can also be used) juice

How to make it:

Peel kiwi and put all of them in a blender except one. Grind them until smooth, then add honey and lime juice and blend for 1 minute. Slice the remained kiwi, then take popsicle molds and place 2 pieces in each (1 on each side).

Then pour kiwi mixture in the molds and freeze.

Peanut cookies
three-ingredient snacks 9

Ingredients:

  • 1 glass of peanut butter
  • 1 glass of sugar
  • 1 egg

How to make it:

Mix thoroughly all three ingredients. Work dough to form cookies and bake about 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 350°F.

Cheesecake with white chocolate
three-ingredient snacks 10

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 4 oz (120 g) white chocolate
  • 4 oz (120 g) cream cheese

How to make it:

Separate the yolks from the whites and cover the bowl of whites with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge. Put chocolate in a bowl and place in a water bath to melt, stirring from time to time. Add a cream cheese and mix until smooth. Add yolks and stir again.

Pull out whites from the fridge, beat them up and add to the chocolate mixture. Put baking paper on a baking dish and spread oil on it. Pour your cheesecake-to-be in a dish and put it in an oven preheated to 340°F for 15 minutes.

Then turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool for a bit.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and put it in the fridge. Cheesecake is served cold.
