Koalas are just so cuddly and cute that there’s not much they could do to look otherwise. Despite their sweet appearance, koalas are actually decidedly unfriendly creatures.
Described as asocial animals, koalas spend a mere 15 minutes a day engaging in social activities. Koalas tend to engage in agonistic behavior that involves squabbles between individuals who pass or climb over each other. These spats may include wrestling, chasing and, occasionally, biting.
While the males are often characterized as the aggressive ones, pregnant females actually present as particularly antagonistic. Luckily, koalas tend to avoid wasting energy at all costs, including fighting and arguing.
