Khloé Kardashian, the 31-year-old of the family, was often ignored by photographers and stylists. Often considering her too fat for their fashion shoots. Nonetheless, Khloé has come to define what a healthy, strong body is sexy. Since separating from her NBA star husband Lamar Odom two years ago, Khloé has been hitting the gym, and her handwork has paid off.
The natural blonde is considered the favorite Kardashian.
When Keeping Up with the Kardashians made its TV debut in 2007, Khloé watched her sisters Kim and Kourtney get all the attention.
Her 5-foot 8-inch frame towered over the more petite Kim and Kourtney.
Stylists would flat out tell her they could not work with her. Often shaming her and saying no one carried her size.
She is only human, Khloé admits those comments, “always hurt my feelings, of course.”
She may be known for her killer thighs and wear the latest fashion but she wasn’t always popular.
Khloé had no friends when she attended high school so she dropped out and completed her GED through a home-schooling program.
For many years she only wore miniskirts because she felt her legs were the only skinny parts of her body.
She feels her weight has been her “biggest lifetime struggle.”
She works hard to have that body.
Khloé works out three to five times a week.
Khloé has over 50 million Instagram followers, 18 million Facebook fans, and 20 million Twitter followers. People love her!
Despite her life filled with trips around the world and wearing clothes by famous designers, life has not always been easy for her.
In 2001, Khloé was in a horrific car accident where her head went through the front windshield while her legs were stuck under the steering wheel. Two years later she lost her dad to cancer.
She says she got used to people body shaming her, often comparing her to her sisters.
People often referred to her as “the fat one.”
She has lost 40 pounds in two years by eating healthy and working out hard.
“If you had asked me two years ago if I would have the body I have now I would have said, ‘No way, my body can’t do that,'” says Khloé.
During her separation to Lamar Odom, Khloé didn’t go to a therapist to deal with the emotions of a break-up.
Instead, she joined a gym, got on the elliptical machines and watched what else? Reality TV. She saw results immediately.
She did all this while managing her boutique DASH, wrote a book, and starred on the family’s famous reality TV show.
She may be a daredevil at the gym but she never forgets to workout without makeup on.
She’s proud of the amount of work she’s put in to get that body. “I love my shape because I’ve earned every curve. I work hard in the gym to get it,” explains Khloé.
She is not ashamed of what she looked like before either. “I also loved my shape before, when I was even curvier. I was always incredibly comfortable in my skin. Everybody else saw me in a different way, but I didn’t see myself that way,” says Khloé of her transformation.
She has been accused of going under the knife to get her perfect thighs and buns. Khloé promises it’s all genetics and her sessions at the gym!
