Falling asleep can be one of the most frustratingly difficult tasks imaginable. Pillows range from too puffy to paper thin. Blankets can be scratchy and irritating, or so heavy they feel like the lead vest the dentist makes you put on before an x-ray. Not to mention trying to fall asleep if it’s too hot or cold.
We all wish that falling asleep could be as easy as counting to ten and waking up in the morning feeling fresh and renewed. According to Doctor Andrew Weil, however, it can actually be that simple, but you might have to count a little higher than ten. His yoga-based breathing technique can help with everything from falling asleep to resisting cravings.
