Tater tot pros Joshua Riesner and Keenan Bosworth from Pig & Pickle shared their recipe for hot dog tater tots with us. Basically, they take a few hot dogs and few favorite toppings and throw them into a mix of mushy potatoes. The potato-hot dog mix then gets formed into tots, and after a brief trip to the fridge and dip in breading, they’re pan-fried until golden brown.
Opening a bag of frozen tots might be easier, but where’s the fun in that? Making them from scratch is infinitely more impressive and provides an open canvas for experimentation like no other.
