He Puts Food Coloring In Rice To Demonstrate An Awesome Method For Coloring Easter Eggs

It is getting close to that time of year when you will be dyeing Easter eggs. Usually with water, food coloring, and vinegar. One method is to use uncooked rice that has been colored.

First, decide on the colors that you want for your eggs. Then put enough uncooked rice in a bowl to cover the eggs. Add a few drops of food coloring to the rice to get the desired color and place the eggs in the rice, covering them so that they will have color all over. Shake the bowl of rice a bit to get a few different designs.

This method of dyeing eggs makes much less of a mess than using water and vinegar, and you do not have the smell from the vinegar, either. Try combining two different colors to experiment with the designs.
