She Tells Her Daughter Not To Be Afraid Of School. But Never Expected A Stranger To Do This…

“My 5 year old starts Kindergarten in the fall, and on the city bus today, a stranger overheard her talking about her fear of learning to read. I started looking up some fun games on my phone, but the stranger sitting near us handed me this note for her before he got off. It made her day, and mine as well, because that little bit of encouragement from a stranger calmed her fears. She bounced off the bus at our stop, just a few later, saying “He believes in me! I can do this!”

Stranger, I don’t know you, but thank you, for making a huge difference in my daughters life tonight. Your five minutes is something she will remember for the rest of her life.”

“When you practice your letters enough, and the sounds they make, they’ll start to work together and make sense, and then you’ll be reading. When you can read, you’ll know what EVERYTHING says. All the signs, all the names, all the books, writing is EVERYWHERE if you look soon you’ll be able to read books, and everything there is to know is in them! you’ll be able to find out whatever you want! It probably won’t be easy, but it won’t be hard forever. It’s going to be so exciting! Good luck!”
