Meet Welles Remy Crowther, a man who lost his life during the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Centers. More than a thousand people attended his funeral at the Grand Episcopal Church in Nyack, NY.
He was working as an investment banker on the 104th floor of the south tower when tragedy struck and he called his mother. He let her know he was alright, and that was the last time anyone in his family heard from him. They all knew he’d died, they just didn’t know what happened before the second plane hit. Fast forward to May, when his father Jefferson and his mother Allison discovered an article on The New York Times describing a man in a red bandanna. After finding the whereabouts of other victims, it turned out he was a real hero.
